J, góēs-in-residence of Philippine Sorcery

J (they/them) is an animist practitioner of practical enchantment and sorcery since 2020. They draw upon experience in multiple fields, ranging from their native experiences with Catholicism and Western mystery traditions (both grimoire and otherwise), their education in geomancy, and their own personal gnosis. A self-described ‘spiritual askal’, J can be found doing readings, talking about geomancy, shaking up the dead, discovering common grounds between precolonial practices and materials abroad, and providing advice at your local art fair, crossroads, or liminal space. Or EDSA, as fortune may have it.

They consider themselves fortunate to have learned from Runesoups’s Gordon White, as well as those who have generously made their content available online such as CircleThrice, Sam Block, BLTHZR, Sara Mastros, Dr. Alexander Cummins, and more.

As a magician of Metro Manila, J helps his clients co-create better lives for themselves, their ancestors, and the world that they build. They are versed with the Tarot and the Arabian current of geomancy, offering a variety of consultations and services for discerning clients who come from all walks of life.
